New Year’s Eve Kaiseki Tasting Menu & Live Jazz Experience
DECEMBER 31
Step into 2026 with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve at Miku Toronto. For one night only, Chef de Cuisine Michael Acero presents an osechi-inspired five-course kaiseki that blends Japanese New Year traditions with Miku’s signature Aburi style. The evening is elevated by live jazz from the Chris Platt Trio beginning at 7pm.
Your evening begins with Osechi, a modern interpretation of Osechi Ryōri—the celebratory New Year feast in Japan where each dish symbolizes good fortune, prosperity, and health. This beautifully composed course features Aburi Sashimi, Grilled Hotate, Madai Tataki, Kombu Maki, Glazed Prawn, Ikura, Kabayaki-glazed Octopus, Chikuzenni, and more.
The menu continues with a delicate Osuimono broth, followed by a refined Sushi selection showcasing A5 Wagyu Nigiri, Salmon Oshi Bite, Konbujime Hirame, Sawara Negi Miso, and an Ikura Uni Mini Don. For the main course, indulge in the luxurious A5 Japanese Wagyu & Lobster Caviar Gratin, then conclude with MICHELIN-Star Executive Pastry Chef Aiko Uchigoshi’s stunning Matcha Moelleux.
The New Year’s Eve kaiseki is $200 per guest, plus taxes and gratuities. Complement your evening with curated pairings by Beverage Manager Angela Allan: Wine & Sake Pairing for $55 or Premium Wine Pairing for $65.
